A scrub, mask and cleanser in one, this nutrient-rich honey, flower, and berry mud will provide gentle exfoliation by removing dead skin cells and increasing circulation, revealing a brighter, smoother and healthier complexion.

Hibiscus, aka the “botox plant”, gives this mask its deep red color but also promotes cell renewal and improves elasticity.  Acai and rosehip deliver vitamins and antioxidants to your skin.  Glycolic acid-rich sugar, gentle oats, lactic-acid rich yogurt, and pumpkin gently exfoliate.  Honey envelopes your skin, soothing and hydrating while simultaneously fighting off bad bacteria.  Use this refreshing mud as a scrub, cleanser, or leave on for 15 minutes for a more intense exfoliating experience.  Leaves skin feeling oh so soft and happy!

To Use as a Mask: Wet face. Take a small dime size amount of the mud, and slowly start applying to face with a gentle circular motion. The mud will melt on your skin, covering it in a thin, sweet layer of flowers and berries. Leave on for 5-15 minutes. Remove by rinsing with warm water. Follow by cleansing the skin with one of our toners and a cotton pad. Finish with a facial oil or balm. For best results, use after an herbal steam.

To Use as a Cleanser: Same application as the scrub. We recommend using this mud as a cleanser only 2-3 times per week because of its exfoliating properties.

Masking is not just about skin care, it is also about self-care. Before mixing your mask, take a moment to prepare your space for comfort. Dress in some comfy yet pretty clothes, or prepare a warm bath with detox salts or hydrating coconut milk. Settle in with some tea and a good book, soak in the bath, or take an extra-long shower. Take this moment, while the mask is working, to decompress and be in the moment. Take a few deep breaths, and thank yourself for taking the time to take care of you.

Gentle glow!

I've been looking for something I could use to exfoliate my sensitive, dry skin and have tried everything under the sun - from ayurvedic herbs, to fruit enzymes, and acids and everything will irritate and dry my skin. But I use this scrub once a week and my skin is soft, my pores are cleansed and my skin is hydrated. I love it! I haven't had a hard time with the consistency. I use a warm spoon to get some out of the jar, and mix with a hydrosol : )

Getting used to the mud/mask!

When I first used the product it was very sticky and didn't apply well to my face. This could have been caused by the fact that when it was delivered the temps were very cold which I think affected the product consistency. However, on the second use it applied well and was much less sticky. It still seems pretty thick to me but that maybe how the mud is supposed to be.

Hi Bobbi! This mask is made of a base of honey, so it is natural that it will have a thicker texture if stored in cold temperatures. It does become more liquid in warmer temperatures and when applied to the skin. When applying this mask, we recommend wetting your face before applying for easy application.
