$ 24.00

A scrub, mask and cleanser in one, this nutrient-rich honey, flower, and berry mud will provide gentle exfoliation by removing dead skin cells and increasing circulation, revealing a brighter, smoother and healthier complexion.

Hibiscus, aka the “botox plant”, gives this mask its deep red color but also promotes cell renewal and improves elasticity.  Acai and rosehip deliver vitamins and antioxidants to your skin.  Glycolic acid-rich sugar, gentle oats, lactic-acid rich yogurt, and pumpkin gently exfoliate.  Honey envelopes your skin, soothing and hydrating while simultaneously fighting off bad bacteria.  Use this refreshing mud as a scrub, cleanser, or leave on for 15 minutes for a more intense exfoliating experience.  Leaves skin feeling oh so soft and happy!

AHAs exfoliate, promote cell renewal, help prevent acne breakouts, increase moisture content, and improve elasticity. Hibiscus is also high in water-soluble antioxidants and vitamin C, which help fight off damage-causing free-radicals, reduce inflammation, and promote a healthy complexion.

Acai Berries // Acai berries are small purplish-red berries that are a potent source of antioxidants such as vitamin C, ferulic acid, and epicathechin. Applied topically acai can help nourish the skin, prevent premature aging, and reduce inflammation and redness.

Rosehips // The red fruit produced by roses. Rosehips are one of the richest sources of vitamin C available. They also contain carotenoids, beta-carotene, and lycopene. Rosehip powder is a wonderful gentle exfoliant.

Honey // Mmm, delicious honey :) Produced by bees from nectar, honey has many skincare benefits due to its peptide, amino acid and vitamin content. It has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, wound healing, humectant, and exfoliating properties. It can be used as a topical moisturizer and cleanser, and is great for dry, irritated or break out prone skin.

Pumpkin // Pumpkin flesh is high in beta-carotene and vitamin C, which are free radical fighting antioxidants. It is also high in copper and zinc, possibly helping promote collagen production and to fade skin discoloration.

Sugar Extract // Sugar is a natural source of glycolic acid, an exfoliant that helps slough away dead skin cells to help reveal a brighter, more youthful complexion.

Oats // Oats are just amazing for the skin. They contain saponins that gently cleanse. They are rich in anti-oxidants which help prevent premature aging. They also have strong anti-inflammatory properties, great for problem skin. Oats are also a gentle exfoliant.

To Use as a Mask: Wet face. Take a small dime size amount of the mud, and slowly start applying to face with a gentle circular motion. The mud will melt on your skin, covering it in a thin, sweet layer of flowers and berries. Leave on for 5-15 minutes. Remove by rinsing with warm water. Follow by cleansing the skin with one of our toners and a cotton pad. Finish with a facial oil or balm. For best results, use after an herbal steam.

To Use as a Cleanser: Same application as the scrub. We recommend using this mud as a cleanser only 2-3 times per week because of its exfoliating properties.

Masking is not just about skin care, it is also about self-care. Before mixing your mask, take a moment to prepare your space for comfort. Dress in some comfy yet pretty clothes, or prepare a warm bath with detox salts or hydrating coconut milk. Settle in with some tea and a good book, soak in the bath, or take an extra-long shower. Take this moment, while the mask is working, to decompress and be in the moment. Take a few deep breaths, and thank yourself for taking the time to take care of you.
